Cook, Create, and Compete!
The Food Truck Challenge is a high-energy fusion of culinary innovation and creative construction. Teams bid for ingredients in an IPL-style auction, whip up dishes in a MasterChef-style cook-off, and simultaneously design and build their own food truck. It’s a test of creativity, delegation, and collaboration—served with a dash of fun and competition.
Introduction & Team Formation (5–10 min): Teams are briefed on rules and objectives, then divided for the challenge.
Ingredient Auction (20–30 min): Teams bid strategically for ingredients using virtual currency, testing planning and resource allocation.
Culinary & Build (60–75 min): Parallel tasks—half the team prepares dishes while others design and construct the food truck.
Presentation & Judging (10–15 min): Teams showcase their food creations and food truck designs to the judges.
Debrief & Awards (10–15 min): Facilitators highlight teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, followed by awards for best overall performance.
